Callum Angus
Andrews Forest Writing Resident (2018)
Callum Angus is a trans and queer writer who has received fellowships from Lambda Literary and Signal Fire Foundation for the Arts. His work has appeared in Catapult, The Common, The Offing, BuzzFeed, The Normal School, them, The Millions, and elsewhere. Angus’s A Natural History of Transition was a finalist for the Edmund White Debut Fiction Award, the Lambda Literary Award, and the Oregon Book Award/Ken Kesey Award for Fiction. He holds an MFA in fiction from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and has taught writing at both UMass Amherst and Smith College.
