John R. Campbell has published essays and poems in many literary journals, including Poetry, The Georgia Review, and The North American Review. His book of environmental meditations, Absence and Light, is available from the University of Nevada Press. Campbell is the recipient of awards from Poets and Writers, the Utah Arts Council, and the Fulbright Program.
