John S. Farnsworth

John S. Farnsworth studies literary natural history and Anglo-American nature writing. He also dabbles in historical ecology, environmental rhetoric, and the history of environmental thought. He taught Environmental Studies and Sciences at Santa Clara University, and consults on education for sustainability, especially concerning sustainability-across-the-curriculum programs at the university level. An avid participant in community science, he served as part of a Hawkwatch team with the Golden Gate Raptor Observatory.
